Leah's first birthday

Our friend Leah turned one at the end of July. We went to her birthday part in mid-August and had a blast.

All of Leah's toys all around, two other babies to play with, and Alexa chooses... her diaper wipes. Great.

Jen with Alexa.

Rainer with his little birthday girl.

Alexa was happy to be there!

The Birthday Girl with her cake.

Her first little taste of cake.

Starting to dig in. She likes it!

YUMMY cake.

Totally covered.

A little cake-drunk, I think.

Alexa, looking a bit like the evil friend!

Leah's all cleaned up from the cake.

The girls don't quite play together yet, but they do play in close proximity to each other. Leah climbed right over Alexa.

Small kid in the middle of a sea of tissue paper!

Alexa's present to Leah was a Cabbage Patch Kid. Leah was very intrigued.

Looking closer at the CPK. I'm not sure Leah knew if it was a real baby or not.
