One of the lovely, sunny days. Jen and Wil tethered the floating raft to the dock and snoozed in the sun.
Jevon and his girl, sitting in the shade.
Mummy and baby in our big sunglasses. It would have looked even better if I was wearing my floppy hat, too.
Me, diving off the dock.
Typical Muskoka summer shot.
Happy baby. She loved taking steps on the dock and the decks. Unfortunately, I had to pull several slivers out of her tiny feet midway through the week! Jen was amazing - she held the little feet still while I performed the delicate surgery with a pair of sharp tweezers. Thereafter, we put the little Robeez shoes on Alexa when she was walking on the wood so that we could avoid future such surgeries.
Wil, with a perfect summer background behind him.
Jev, looking cute. You can see from the beard that it's a little later in the week.
We spent a lot of time in this floating chair.
Keeping cool on the dock.
Really cute candid of Jen and Wil cuddling.
And of course the beer commercial pose.
The five of us. Who knew that all of this would have come from Jen and I being thrown together as Frosh week leaders in 1998?
We heard a crash in the woods one night. The next morning, we found these perfectly cleaned and stripped branches that some beavers had left for us. (Jen's photo)
Me and Wil playing with the branches. (Jen's photo)
Me, pretending to be a warrior woman in the sunset.
Sunset from the dock. (Jen's photo)
Sunset across the lake with some cool cloud formations. (Jen's photo)
Moonrise over the lake.
Jevon captured some more cool cloud formations.
Jen and Wil, looking romantic in the sunset.
Me and Jev, cuddling in the sunset.
Thanks to Jen and Wil for a fabulous week!
