Home Alone

We left Alexa with her first non-family babysitter last night. Mummy's friend Chris came over to take care of our Little Miss while we went out to celebrate our friend Faith's birthday.

Chris is a babysitting pro - she's got an adorable niece and nephew whom she sits for regularly. So we knew Alexa was in capable hands.

From all reports, Alexa and Chris had a great evening. Alexa ate dinner, they played with her toys, and Chris held Alexa's hands as she walked around the house (Alexa's favourite new activity). Then, Alexa went to bed a bit earlier than normal for Chris, and she also slept the whole night through afterwards. Yup, she slept from just before 8:00 PM to 7:43 AM!!!!! Just what a tired Mummy and Daddy needed.

Chris, you can babysit ANY time.
