On the Mother's Day weekend, we travelled to see Auntie Lisa, Uncle Charles, and cousins Hazel, Eden and Simon.
Alexa slept while I packed. Her patented hand-clasped-bib-like-a-cape maneuver.
We drove up to Ottawa after Jevon was done work on Friday. Alexa was a champ through the long car trip, although she did have a bit of trouble settling down at night after we got there. I guess a five-hour car nap will do that to a babe.
On Saturday, we piled the kids into strollers and headed off to see Tulip Fest.
Mummy and Alexa. Mummy is gazing longingly at the concession stands (I have a hard time resisting festival/carnival treats).
Sleepy girl.
Simon, fighting sleep.
Eden, out like a light.
Stroller parking! Of all the kids, only Hazel stayed awake.
There were actually very few tulips out, but we got a couple of good flower shots.
The one tulip bed that was in full bloom!
The springtime family photo. It was a lovely day and a nice long walk.
