Behind on my blogging - March Break

Last week was March Break. On Wednesday morning, Alexa and Mummy dropped Daddy off at work and headed up the 400 to Huntsville to visit with the van der Meer clan.

Auntie Em, Uncle Dean, Jack, Ollie and Joey were there on Wednesday, but drove home on Wednesday night. Auntie Ange and Uncle Geoff were there on Wednesday and Thursday, and drove home on Thursday morning. Charlie and Sam were there for the whole time.

We didn't get any pictures of the Lising clan on Mummy's camera this time, but we got lots of the Tunnards and Grammie and Opa.

A typical Opa baby hold:

Sam and Charlie spent lots of time in front of the baby chair, playing with Alexa, talking to Alexa, and making her chair sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". (Handsome boys in their manly pink shirts).

She had a few fussy times. Opa sang to her, and Charlie and Sam took turns holding her.

Paula and her kids came over for a visit on Friday morning. Two Tunnards, four Smiths, and one VandenBerg (along with all the adults) made for a very full living room!

The big boys bonded over their DS's. All three of them were playing various Pokemon games.

Paula's kids took turns cuddling Alexa. She was a superstar. She needed a few breaks for feeding and changing, but otherwise was very good with being passed around.

Nicholas helped with all three of his triplet siblings when they were teeny tiny, so he's old hat at holding babies and was an absolute natural with Alexa. All four kids were great with her, and Charlie and Sam were pleased to meet some new kids in Huntsville. Paula brought over some of her cupcakes for us, so it was a real little party.

On Friday afternoon, Alexa and I headed back into the city to pick Daddy up from work. He was very happy to see his baby girl (and wife) again.
