Retrospective - the best from Feb/Mar 2013

Running after two kids, I rarely get a chance to blog these days. I tend to fill our social calendar full-to-bursting (especially in the summer). Instead of doing several posts, I thought I would pick some of the best of the spring and post them here to catch up a little bit.

Mia was introduced to my great friend Alison and her daughter Lennan. Ali and I have known each other since we were toddlers, and it is so much fun to see our kids interact. Alexa called Lennan "Lemon", and is very taken with her. She frequently asks where Lemon is.

We finished our new playroom downstairs. My dad put together the new couch, and we took a photo shoot of Alexa cuddling Mia on the new couch.

Alexa has taken great interest in Mia and in what I do with Mia. Raptor is a favourite toy, and often gets fed or nursed or swaddled. Here, Alexa needed to be swaddled like Mia, and then she was feeding Raptor. She frequently "nurses" Raptor. I think I'd be nervous to nurse a baby with such sharp teeth, but she's fearless.
