All Hallow's Eve

Happy Hallowe'en!

First, we went to a Hallowe'en party on Wednesday with Auntie Em and cousins Joey and Ollie. The party was with Em's mommy group. Alexa had an adorable costume handed down from her cousins Hazel and Eden. It was either a chick or a duckling. Let's go with chick.

Lion Joey and his friend Audrey the (other) chick.

The "big" kids, playing Hallowe'en games. Two princesses, a Spiderman and an Olliesaurus.

The boys, making (and eating) chocolate-covered marshmallows.

More crafts.

Chocolate-covered Ollie and his craft.

Four babies! Two chicks, a lion and a ladybug. Cute overload!

And the post-photoshoot chaos.

Hallowe'en night, we first visited some friends. Our friends Mark and Steph, with their neighbours, created Oz in their yards. It was AWESOME. Little Charlie R was the cowardly lion. So cute. We also visited our friends Paul and Marianne. We sat Alexa on their front porch, rang the bell, and hid. They opened the door to a little chickie on the doorstep! They thought she was very cute.

Alexa with her jack-o-lantern and her daddy. The pumpkin was designed by cousin Jack and cut out by mummy.

Our chicken little (little chicken?), playing with the candy bowl.

Waiting for more big kids to arrive at the door. She loved having the kids come trick or treating.

Mummy and chickie.

Chicken on the loose!

Posing.

Tired chick at the end of the night.

Leah wore the exact same costume - also a hand-me-down! She was pretty confused in it though and didn't like that the feet kept tripping her up. I have video of her walking in it, and it's so cute! The whole costume wiggles and she actually looks like she's waddling!

I agree, Ali.

Thanks Faith - isn't it an improvement over the yucky carpet?

And I LOVED that the costume waddled when Alexa crawled. A-freaking-dorable. Now that you mention it, I remember that Leah has the same costume. Too bad we didn't get them together.
