Growing and changing

As I type this post, Alexa is lying on the floor, playing with her toys. She is getting more mobile - still not crawling, but she can roll and wiggle her way pretty much wherever she wants to go.

The weather continues to impress these days - a bit more rain, but still generally nice. Combine that with our recent travels to a cottage (with friends Jen and Wil) and the fact that Alexa is much busier these days, it has become a lot harder for me to keep up with the blog. I'm putting in a concerted effort to get caught up on the last month. I have so many pictures that it will be difficult to pick which ones to keep.

On July 16, our good friends got married (I'll post that later on). It provided a good opportunity for my high school girls to get together in one city. Emily and Tim were visiting from Saskatoon, so we invited Terri and Ram (and their puppies, Ruby and Nico) to come over for dinner for a mini-reunion.

The puppies are just Alexa's size, so she loved playing with them.
