Grandpa's retirement party

Grandpa's retirement party was on Saturday. For much of the party, I only saw Alexa if she was hungry. Otherwise, there were plenty of willing arms to hold her.

We "kids" got Grandpa a retirement gift. I'm pretty sure, based on the reaction, that he wasn't expecting it.

The boys put on a puppet show after dinner. Jared made sure to announce to everyone that it was going on.

It was quite the elaborate show, with space for ten spectators. There was standing room only; the play room was packed.

I finally got to hold my sleepy girl again at the end of the night.

Uncle Dave cuddled Alexa back to sleep when she fussed. She looks pretty comfy!
